CSCR's State of the Harbor
CSCR's Signature Community Outreach and Education Event
where our students shine and the community learns
...and this year, you get to participate in a number of townwide planning efforts
April 25, 2018
6-8pm at Cohasset Lightkeeper's Bancroft Hall
CSCR student research teams will be presenting their findings. Visit each group to learn about where devices launched from our waters drift to, what lives out beyond the flats, what indicators of pollution can be found in our watershed, what kind of trash is most abundant, what kind of shellfish are in the Gulf River and see a video about saltmarshes with the Junior Researchers.
A panel will bring you up to speed on the current endeavors of the the town's Harbor Committee, the Cohasset Master Plan, the Municipal Vulnerabilities Program and State requirements.  Each entity will have an opportunity to explain how people who care about the harbor and the town can participate.
Both CSCR and all of our panelist groups are looking for stakeholder involvement.  So residents of all varieties should participate. It's a great opportunity to meet the people who want to integrate your opinions. RSVP on Event Brite to help us plan.
