The Plastic Problem: From Plankton to Pelagic Fish: We continue our research objective to document the quantity, spatial distribution, and extent of “the plastic problem” in our marine ecosystem. Students will collect, record, map, and analyze marine debris present in organisms in our ecosystem and that on our shorelines. New territory being charted by students this year; great, unforeseen discoveries to be made by you this year! Open to all students grades 9 to college.
Dates: June 22 to August 28
Meets Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 – 12:30 pm (with a 3rd time, TBD by the group.)
